For the first time since September there are new leaders at the head of the table as Washingborough went above the inactive Gainsborough Town Canutes. Also at the top of the table there were good wins for Waddington United and Fulbeck United along with victory for Metheringham who moved out of the bottom four.

Washingborough had quietly climbed the table since an uncertain start to their season and visiting AFC Ruston Sports they were not only seeking a league double but also a sixth successive win and eighth victory in their last ten games. Showing now mercy on tenth placed Rustons they recorded the biggest away win in the League this season with a 10-1 victory.  Leading the way with the goals was Pete Buckley who hit four (his first for the club). The other goals came from Dave Curtis, who netted two against his old club, two from Joe Smith (his 13th of the season), Tom Butcher (his 12th of the season) and Joe Butler. Ruston’s consolation goal came from, Mike Bilson with his first of the season. The victory took Washingborough one point clear of Gainsborough Town Canutes but they have played three games more. As for Ruston’s, conceding ten goals, saw them slip to second to bottom of the table on goal difference from an inactive Nettleham. Perhaps, previous leaders Canutes, chief rivals are third placed Waddington United who are now just three points behind them having played the same number of games. They visited Claytons Sports who had hit a sticky patch and were looking to stop a two match losing run. Waddington on the other hand were after recording a fifth win in six games and second double of the season. Keeping a fifth clean sheet of this campaign they came away with a 3-0 win with two goals from Gav Mackie (his 12th of the season) and one from Shaun Booth (his 9th). Another side looking for a league double plus their fourth win in a row was fifth placed RM Imp who visited fourth placed Fulbeck United. After an unbeaten run stretching back to November Fulbeck were looking to end a two match losing run and this they did with a solid 5-2 victory. On target for them were Paul Crampton with a hat-trick (his 8th goals of the season), Josh Woodham and Ben Pollard. RM Imps goals came from Sam Booth and Liam Uzzell (their fourth goals of the season respectively). The final game too saw a side looking to secure a league double as Metheringham visited bottom side Middle Rasen having beaten them just two weeks previously. Metheringham raced into a 5-1 lead with a first senior hat-trick by Elliott Ward (his 7th goals of the season) and one each from defenders Liam Hargrave and Guy Goodwin. Taking their foot off the pedal in the second half Metheringham allowed Rasen to give the score-line more respectability with two further goals of their own for a 5-3 result. Their goals came from Dale Kennedy with two (his 5th of the season) and Ian Smith (his 4th).  Victory took Metheirngham out of the bottom four as they climbed above Horncastle Town Reserves who were without a game.
